Helping you and your dog live well together — with trust, empathy, and understanding.

Because connection changes everything.

Hi, I’m Jessica Logan.

I’m a canine behavior therapist, lifelong animal person, and someone who’s spent the last 20+ years learning (and unlearning) what it means to live peacefully with dogs.

I don’t believe dogs need obedience to live well with us.

I believe they need to feel safe. They need care.
And they need someone who’s willing to truly listen.

I grew up surrounded by animals. My parents were professional handlers and breeders (my Mother is Wendy Maisey, renowned CKC All-Breed Judge), and our home was part kennel, part country wild.
I spent my childhood riding horses through the pasture, packing a lunch to disappear all day with the dogs.

Dogs weren’t pets to me — they were family. They were teachers.
I used to wish they could talk. But I’ve since learned: they do. You just have to know how to listen.

What I Believe (and How I Work)

I don’t offer obedience. I help people see their dogs — and themselves — in a new way.

My approach is rooted in two core principles:

CARE

Safety and connection are the foundation of any behavior change. I help your dog feel safe, so they can respond calmly and trustingly.

PLAY

Dogs learn best when they’re relaxed, curious, and free to make choices. We use play to build confidence, resilience, and communication.

Together, these principles form what I call The Trust Method — a science-backed, heart-led way of working with dogs.
