About the Event

We’ll meet at Mouat’s during a busy hour and observe real-time dog interactions together, discussing posture, play, stress signals, social pacing, and recovery as they unfold in front of us.


These sessions have been hugely popular in the past and incredibly illuminating. When you start seeing what dogs are actually communicating, it becomes hard to unsee it. Subtle shifts in posture, tension, curiosity, avoidance, and relief suddenly become clear.


The first half of our time together will be theory, where we’ll explore the core concepts of canine body language: what to look for, how emotional states show up in movement, and why certain interactions escalate while others diffuse.


Then we’ll head out onto the paths where you’re welcome to bring your dog and put theory into action. Together we’ll practice observing distance, pacing, curiosity, regulation, and recovery in real time. I’ll guide the group in noticing the small details that most…
